The execution of electrification projects in the Nacham Number 1, Bambuli Number 3, Tindong, Nakpanduli and Nacham Number 2, in the Gushegu Municipality of the Northern Region, has received commendations from the residents.
The project, an initiative of the Member of Parliament (MP) of the area, was fully funded by the central government through the government rural electrification initiatives.
The residents of the above-mentioned communities in an interview with diamondfmonlne.com, praised the Member of Parliament (MP) of the area honorable Alhassan Tampuli for lighting up the communities. They also lauded the MP for the numerous projects he has brought to the area in just two years as Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.
They have therefore pledged to show appreciation to honorable Alhassan Tampuli and the ruling new patriotic party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections for keeping faith with them.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Gushegu constituency on August 11, 2023. Connected four (4) more communities onto the national grid. The communities include Nacham Number 1, Bambuli Number 3, Tindong, Nakpanduli and Nacham Number 2.
The beneficiary communities formed part of the number of communities the MP earmarked to be connected to the national grid through the government’s rural electrification Project.
In his remarks at a separate ceremony to inaugurate the electrification project, Mr. Alhassan Tampuli a Deputy Minister of Transport expressed his profound appreciation to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for ensuring the people of Gushegu also receive their fair share of the national cake.
He said the connection of the communities to the national grid would pave the way for many developmental projects to be established, as well as improve academic performance in the area. He reiterated his commitment towards ensuring that all communities in the constituency were provided with electricity.
