N/R: Sherrif appointed NPP director of Communication

The Northern Regional Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party has appointed Mohammed Ibrahim Sherrif as the substantive director of communication in the region.

A letter signed by the Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP Mohammed Bantima Samba and sighted by diamondfmonline.com said Mr. Sherrif’s appointment takes effect from 3rd October 2021.

“Pursuant to article 7(4)(i) of the New Patriotic Party Constitution as amended, the Regional Executive Committee appoints you to serve as the Regional Communication Director of the Party for the remaining period of the four-year term effective 3rd October, 2021” the letter read in part.

” We are optimistic that you will avail your time and resource in the diligent discharge of the duties required of you to the Party at all times in the Region”, the statement added.

Mohammed Ibrahim Sherrif was the deputy director of communication until the appointment of Sule Salifu by President Nana Akuffo-Addo as the Chief Executive of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly.
