The Member of Parliament (MP) for Yagaba/Kubori Constituency, Honorable Mustapha Ussif, has donated assorted medical devices and equipment to the Kubori Health Center of the North East Region.
The items donated include strings and needles, nose masks, suctioning tubes, surgical drips, adult diapers, spinal needles, cannulas, surgical blades, cotton, bandages, autoscope, dressing gauze, insulin string and needles, disposable aprons, lancet, disposable gloves, adult ventilators and hospital beds among others.
The gesture was aimed at improving health care delivery in the hospital.
Addressing the staff and management of the hospital before presenting the items, the MP, who is also the Minister of Youth and Sports, in his remarks noted that Kubori Health Center remain a focal point for a referral health cases from within and outside the Yagaba Kubori constituency, and even sometimes from part of the Savanna Region
He thus admonished the management of the facility to take proper care of the items to promote quality health care delivery in the area.
It would be recalled that, the MP over the last two years refurbished the Kubori Health Center with an ultra-modern edifice to suit the comfort of patients admitted at the facility.
On their part the staff and management of the facility, commended the MP for the gesture.
