Five superfoods to boost your sex life

Want to spice up your sex life and boost your libido? Look no further than your local grocery store.

According to a Ghanaian doctor, Dr. Paul Adu, there are five superfoods that can effectively enhance your sex drive and treat issues like erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, May 30, Dr. Adu shared that dates, watermelon, tiger nuts, bananas and ginger are natural aphrodisiacs that are packed with nutrients to boost your performance in the bedroom.

“Dates are a natural aphrodisiac so eating them can help treat sex related issues. Dates increase females sexual drive because they contain abundant levels of iron, vitamin C, folate, and numerous other essential minerals and nutrients,” Dr. Adu said.

Watermelon is also great for blood flow to the ***, thanks to citrulline, an amino acid that stimulates circulation.

“Men with Erectile Dysfunction and low sex drive might benefit from taking L-citrulline via watermelon,” Dr. Adu tweeted.

Tiger nuts and bananas can also give your libido a kick: “Tiger nut contains a high level of arginine and omega 3 which helps in the better flow of blood to the ***, it provides a large amount of energy needed during sexual intercourse,” said Dr. Adu.

Bananas, on the other hand, contain potassium and tryptophan to boost testosterone, lift your mood and fuel arousal.

Finally, Dr. Adu recommends adding ginger to your diet: “In fact, research suggests that it could increase blood flow, reduce oxidative stress, and enhance fertility among both men and women.”
