The Northern Regional Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yussif Toyibu popular known as AGENDA, has indicated that he will resign at the end of the elections on Friday May 27, if Chairman Samba failed to retain his position, even if he AGENDA wins his position.
“I swear to God if we go to the elections on Friday and I win, and Chairman Samba failed to emerge victorious at the end of the elections, I will resign. I will not even allow them to swear me in as Northern Regional Treasurer of NPP.
The NPP Northern Regional Treasurer who is also seeking reelection, made these remarks on Diamond FM SIASA SAHA a Dagbani Political Talk Show on Tuesday May 24, 2022 with Abdulai Abdul-Gafaru.
AGENDA was optimistic that he and Chairman Samba will be winning the internal elections by a landslide victory come Friday May 27, 2022.
“It’s only Chairman Samba who can lead our party to break the 8″, he said.
The Northern Regional branch of the NPP goes to the polls on Friday May 27, 2022, to elect new regional executives to manage the affairs of the party in the region.
The incumbent Regional Chairman Mohammed Adam Bantima Samba, is seeking reelection and is battling with two others including Alhaji Inusah Dagomba Boy and Ibrahim Mahama.
The political space of the NPP in the region is very charged with the camps of the two key contenders crisscrossing each other to campaign and to meet delegates individually or in groups.
The traditional media space within the Northern Regional capital Tamale, and the entire atmosphere are flooded with series of engagements and campaigns to win the hearts of the delegates.
