Darul Tawheed Institute donates Medical Equipment to TTH

The DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE an Islamic charity organization within the Tamale Metropolis, has on Friday July 8, 2022 donated medical equipment and sanitary items to the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) internal medical ward at the premises of the hospital.

The items included two thermometer guns, three digital BP apparatus, 200 pieces of face towel, parks of adult diapers, several pieces of bed sheets, sanitizers, several boxes of Lipton tea, boxes of toilet rolls and several parks of sachet water.

The donation aimed at supporting the management and staff of the facility to effective and efficient run the hospital.

In his remarks, the Director of DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE, Doctuur Abu Dijana Ibn Bayaan stated that, management of DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE as part of their ways of observing Arafah on Friday 8 July 2022, deemed it a privilege to support the hospital.

He was hopeful the items would help boost the hospital’s effort in the discharge of its duties. “Many people want to donate to the facility, but for the fear that it would not reach the targeted beneficiaries, and that prevent them from donating hence, we are encouraging the management of TTH to ensure the items reach the targeted group”, he urged.

He reiterated the commitment of his organization towards assisting the facility to ensure quality health care delivery to the general public.

“This is not the first time we are embarking on this type of exercise and this would not be the last Inshaa Allah”, he assured.

“Arafah is a day of immense forgiveness when Allah sets many people free from the hell fire even if you are not standing on the Plains of Arafah”.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Akwulpwa Valentine, HOD at the Accident and Emergency Ward expressed gratitude to the management of DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE for the kind gesture, and said the items would help boost the morale of staff in their service delivery.

He appealed to the DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE and other corporate institutions to continue to support the hospital with medical equipment and other materials needed to enhance effective healthcare delivery to their clients.

Dr. Valentine also urged the youth within Northern Ghana to emulate the positive activities of Director of DARUL TAWHEED INSTITUTE Doctuur Abu Dijana Ibn Bayaan.
