COVID-19: Dr Ibrahim Anyars distributes Hand Washing Facilities to Public Toilets within the Constituency

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Tamale Central constituency, Dr Ibrahim Imoro Anyars, as part of his effort towards the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in the constituency has again on Sunday, 12 April, 2020 distribute some Personal  Protection Equipment (PPEs) to various public toilets within the constituency.  

The items include fifty (50) veronica buckets, and two hundred and fifty (250) pieces of liquid soap.

This is the third time the NPP pc is supporting the constituents against the spread of the deadly COVID – 19 within the Tamale Central constituency.

It would be recalled that over the weeks, the NPP parliamentary candidate who doubled as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), donated some PPEs to various health facilities within the constituency. He also extended the donation to market places, various media houses and public places within the constituency.

The Tamale Central constituency secretary of the NPP Musah Mutawakilu together with other executives includes the constituency chairman Mohammed Ibrahim, who presented the items on behalf of the NPP Parliamentary candidate to various assembly members within the constituency for onward distributions.

Musah Mutawakilu briefing the media after handing over the items to the various assembly members noted the benevolence by the NPP parliamentary candidate is aimed at protecting the constituents against the deadly coronavirus disease.

He said the Veronica buckets together with the liquid soap will be mounted across over fifty (50) public toilets within the constituency to help promote the hand washing habit in the area.

 “Dr Ibrahim Anyars saw the need to come out again because we all do know that regardless of how we try to fight COVID-19 we cannot do so leaving out public toilets and public places. That’s why he saw the need to reach out to the public toilets and public places, and indeed, he has make a provision for over fifty public toilets within the constituency to promote hand washing to help curb the spread of this deadly this disease”, he stated.

Speaking to diamondfmonline.com after the donation, Musah Mutawakilu explained that the health of the people within the Tamale Central constituency is the top-most priority to the NPP parliamentary candidate hence, his move to help curb the spread of the deadly disease in the area.

Some of the assembly members who received the items on behalf of their electorates expressed their happiness and commended Dr Ibrahim Anyars for his continuous support to the people of Tamale Central Constituency.

They have however encouraged the people of the constituency to adhere to the directives by the President and the precautions placed by the Ghana Health Service to control the spread of the virus.
