Pearlpia Ladies defender Bintu Alhassan says she is delighted for winning the NASCO Woman of the Match award in Pearlpia Ladies FC 3-0 win over Supreme Ladies at the Tamale Utrecht Park.
Bintu Alhassan popularly known as “Gbini” in the football circles was instrumental at the right back position for the Tamale based side in their second consecutive win of the season in the on ongoing National Women’s League.
The versatile defender who can play either side of defence made 4 key tackles and made a number of interceptions to ensure her side keep a second clean sheet of the season.
Bintu Alhassan says she’s delighted to have won the accolade and dedicates the award to all her team mates, the technical team and supporters of the club.
“Very happy for winning the MVP in our game against Supreme Ladies. I dedicate the award to my team mates, coaches and staff as well as supporters of our great club Pearlpia Ladies”, she posted on her Facebook page.
Pearlpia Ladies will play their next game against Prisons Ladies in Sunyani on Saturday.
