NPP Savannah Regional Communication Team donates in support of Diamond Damba Festival 2022 activities

The Savannah Regional Communication team of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by its Director, Fred Tahiru, have donated an amount of GH₵ 500 (Five Hundred Ghana Cedis) and assorted items to management of Diamond FM ahead of the 2022 Diamond Damba Festival (DDF) activities.

The donation was to support the station organize its annual Damba celebration, which is in its fifth year.

The assorted items included a bag of rice and cartons of Voltic Mineral water.

Speaking after presenting the items, the Savannah Regional NPP Communication Director, Fred Tahiru stated that the Savannah Regional executives of the NPP are committed to providing the necessary support to the management of Diamond FM to ensure a successful event.

He commended management of Diamond FM for taking such initiatives to save lives and to promote peace in the region.

Diamond FM is organizing its fifth edition of the 2022 Damba Festival activities, which will attract people from various tribes from the North including Moshies, Dagombas, Frafras, Kasenas, Grushies, Gonjas and Dagaabas as well as political parties to battle it out in fan games such as a Football Gala competition and other sporting activities on Saturday 29th October, 2022 at the Magnolia Recreational Centre in Dungu behind Mum Hotel on the Bolga road.

The event will be climaxed with a blood donation exercise, registration and renewal of National Health Insurance Cards for widows, orphans, the elderly and persons with disabilities at the premises of Diamond FM at Nkrumah Volini on Thursday 3rd November, 2022.
