NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Sagnarigu Constituency Atta Issah Unifies Constituents with Unity Health Walk

The opposition National Democratic Congress NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Sagnarigu Constituency in the Northern Region, Honorable Atta Issah, has collaborated with the Northern Regional and Sagnarigu Constituency executives of NDC to embark on a unity health walk across the length and breadth of the constituency.

The unity health walk exercise on Saturday morning was aimed at promoting peace and unity among party members in the Sagnarigu constituency

The Northern Regional party executives led by the Regional Chairman, Mr. Ali Adolf joined with the Deputy National Organizer of NDC Mr. Elikem Kotoko and hundreds of party members in the constituency as well as some past government appointees and people from other constituencies branded in the party apparel with the inscription ‘unity health walk’ chanting and dancing to the party’s tunes from the public address system as they embarked on the unity health walk with the PC.

The unity health walk commenced from the premises of Sagnarigu NDC office and continued through Choggu roundabout to Agric traffic and ended at the party constituency office.

Addressing the gathering after the walk, the NDC PC for Sagnarigu constituency, Honorable Atta Issah, urged all NDC supporters in the constituency to rally behind him to enable him retain the Sagnarigu seat for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

Honorable Atta Issah in his remarks, also encouraged the branch and electoral area executives not to relent in their efforts but rather work hard to ensure the party wins power in the 2024 general elections.

“Now that the primaries are over, it is important for us to work together to wrestle power from the ruling new patriotic party (NPP), Ghanaians will not forgive NDC if we make a mistake and this incompetent SAMA NOLI government retains power in 2024. We have gathered here this morning purposely for peace and unity”, he emphasized.

For his part, the Northern Regional chairman NDC, Ali Adolf, reminded the members of the party that it is only unity and peace amongst them that can adequately prepare the party for the 2024 general elections.

He said it is prudent for party members in the Sagnarigu constituency to dissolve all factions within the party and put all bitter rivalry and pain behind them and come together and work as a team for the victory of the party.

The Deputy National Organizer, Elikem Kotoko, in his remarks, also emphasized the need for party members in the Saganrigu constituency to promote peace and unity in the constituency.

Meanwhile the incumbent member of parliament for Sagnarigu constituency Honorable A.B.A Fuseini, was missing at the unity health walk exercise.
