By-election violence: Sam George gives Oppong Nkrumah, 3 others 7-day ultimatum

The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George is demanding an apology and retraction from 4 persons for defaming him.
They are: Bryan Acheampong, Minister of State in charge of National
Security; Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, Minister for Information; a Deputy
Director of Communication in the NPP and Capt Budu Koomson (rtd).
The MP did not mention why the four should apologise.
According to him, the four, had on various platforms, accused him (Sam
George) of leading about 15 motorbikes to the La-Bawaleshie Presby
school polling station during the by-election; an allegation the MP has
denied.
Speaking in an interview on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News, Tuesday, Sam
George indicated that he “has officially written letters to a couple of
individuals who in their course of their commentary on this matter have
made comments defamatory to my person: Minister of State for National
Security, Minister for information, Deputy Director Of Communication of
the NPP and Capt Budu Koomson rtd.
“I have written to all of them today, giving them a seven-day notice to
withdraw and apologise for the defamatory comments they’ve made about
my person; failure to which will attract the necessary legal action.”
