We Stand By ‘Bloody Widow’ Placard . . . It Is Not An Insult – Inusah Fuseini

The Minority Members in Parliament says they stand by their ‘bloody widow’ placards they brandished in the august House on Tuesday.

The minority, while staging a walk-out in Parliament during the swearing in of Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Hon Lydia Seyram Alhassan, displayed placards, some with the inscription; ‘bloody widow’.

Even though some see the term as an insult the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini says it is not.

Speaking in an iterview with Kwami Sefa Kayi, the NDC MP said once Madam Lydia Alhassan is a product of a ‘bloody’ election, ‘she is a bloody widow’.
