The NDC 2020 parliamentary candidates for Gushegu, and Tolon have both denied receiving any major support from Chief Executive Officer of FUZACK construction firm Alhaji Fuseini Yushawu (Alhaji Fuzack) ahead of the 2020 general elections, contrary to claims by Alhaji Fuzack that he financed their campaigns.
Bimbila Constituency Chairman of the NDC also denied receiving any such support from the NDC financier Alhaji Fuzack during the 2020 election.
According to them, the assertion by the NDC regional financier is untrue and rather their campaigns were largely financed by the Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu.

“The only person who supported us is Minority leader who gave us money and other items, we always get in touch with the Regional secretary whenever somebody donated, but we did not receive any item or money from Alhaji Fuzack”, they claimed.
Alhaji Fuzack had asserted that his outfit adopted and financed some orphan constituencies including Gushegu, Tolon and Bimbila during the 2020 general elections but the Parliamentary candidates rebutted the assertion during an interview on-Diamond FM.
The Northern Regional secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mohammed Abdul Salam who was also on the program on Diamond FM indicated that, Alhaji Fuzack never financed the budget of NDC in the Region, therefore he is not a financier of the party but a contributor.
He claimed there is no record in his possession as regional secretary or at the Regional NDC office to prove that Alhaji Fuzack ever financed any of the party’s budget in the Northern Region in the run up to election 2020.
“I have integrity than you”, Salam fires back Alhaji Fuzack.
“Alhaji Fuzack never financed the budget of the NDC in the Region, there is no evidence to show he has ever supported or adopted some orphan constituencies during the 2020 general elections”, as he alleged.
“I have all the records of persons who supported the party during the last general elections, but I don’t have a record of Alhaji Fuzack supporting the party during the elections”, he added.
The Northern Regional secretary of the NDC lamented that, the recent actions by Alhaji Fuzack and his associates are making the party unpopular in the Region.
Mohammed Abdul Salam however called on party members most especially the youth to desist from engaging in activities that will affect the party fortunes in the Region.
