Northern Ladies continue its dominance over their local rivals Pearlpia Ladies after beating them 2-0 on Saturday in the Women’s Normalisation competition at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.
Goals from Mukarama Abdulai and Linda Obeng in the first half of the game was enough for Northern Ladies to have an urge over their bitter brivals.
Their victory now puts them level in the same points with Ampem Darkoa and Pearlpia Ladies all with four(4) points to open up Group B for any other team to qualify.
Pearlpia Ladies midfielder Sulem Abubakar was red carded in the second half of the game after passing an unguarded comments against centre referee Mariama Fuseini.
Meanwhile, the Ampem Darkoa Ladies game against Prisons Ladies were rained off at a time when Prisons were leading by 1-0 with 10minutes to the end proceedings.
