Dr Amin Anta to launch Education fund to support needy students in the Karaga District

 The campaign manager for Dr Amin Adam Anta, Alhaji Abdul Halim Tikuma has disclosed that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP)  parliamentary candidate for Karaga constituency, has schedule to launch an educational fund to support the needy but brilliant students in the area come January 2020.

According to him, the main priority of Dr Amin Anta who doubles as Deputy Energy Minister in charge of petroleum, is human development and empowering the youth, and that includes creating an educational fund to cater for the needy students in the constituency.

Alhaji Halim Tikuma, indicated that one hundred brilliant needy students will be benefiting from the fund each year in the constituency, saying “the NPP PC decided to support the needy students most especially the tertiary students whose parents cannot afford”.

He said the NPP PC intended to make education attractive, and that include supporting Science and Technology students in the area, “because all developed countries depend on these people and thus,  his decision to support them”, he stated.

Alhaji Halim also revealed that Dr Amin Anta is working closely with other health organizations in the country to provide antibiotic drugs for various health centers in the district to cater for snakebite victims in the constituency.

Speaking on Diamond FM SIASA SAHA political show, the campaign manager for Dr Amin Anta, however dispute the assertion that suggested, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Karaga constituency has claiming ownership of some developmental projects most especially the rural electrification projects in the constituency. 

Alhaji Halim Tikuma said Dr Amin Adam Anta is focused to develop Karaga constituency, and therefore he has resolved to connect 95% of the communities in the constituency on to the national grid before 2020 general elections.

He said the Deputy Minister through his pledge to the people of the area, also initiated for the construction of over 50 mechanized boreholes across the constituency, to curb the acute water challenges in the area.

He added that the NPP parliamentary candidate Dr Amin Anta has put measures in place to ensure that both water and electrification challenges in the Karaga constituency will be a thing of the past before his four year term in charge of the Karaga constituency.
