we will bounce back – Coalition for Justice Youth Group

Spokesperson for Coalition for Justice Youth Group in the Tamale metropolis, Mohammed Sule has promised that the group would re-mobilize to demonstrate against the management of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, after police stopped an earlier one on Tuesday morning.

The Northern Regional police command, deployed some security personnel to the Zogbeli Block A park were the group had planned to kick start their demonstration through some principal streets of Tamale against the Dr. Daniel Korbilla administration.

The security personnel led by metro police commander prevented the group from undertaking the demonstration explaining that they were defying public order Act.

Commenting on the botched demonstration, the Spokesperson of the group told Diamond News that the security intervention was unnecessary since they were only registering their displeasure about current happenings at the TTH.

Mohammed Sule accused the Northern Regional Executives of the NPP for instigating the police action.

The Tamale Teaching Hospital has in recent times been faced with series of allegations including mismanagement, which led to a pro-NPP Youth group, taking over the facility where they chased the CEO out of office.

There have been several calls on the government to conduct forensic audit into TTH’s operations following the allegations raised.
