The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Sagnarigu constituency Honorable Attah Issah, has held a meeting with his constituents.
The meeting took place on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
The meeting was attended by major stakeholders in the constituency including religious leaders, artisans, market queens, security agencies, and community leaders.
According to him, the aim of the meeting was to build a constituency united for development.
Mr. Attah Issah took the opportunity to explain his developmental agenda to his constituents.
He also used the opportunity to express his gratitude to the constituents for given him the nod as their parliamentary candidate.
The Sagnarigu NDC PC in his interaction with the stakeholders, also expressed gratitude to them and asked for their support ahead of the 2024 general elections.
“I want to work closely with you. I want us to work together to transform the constituency. Therefore, I instruct that we form a committee in all the sectors in the constituency so that we can be able to work effectively,” he said.
He also stressed the need for all supporters of his party in the constituency to unite and work together to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024.
Some of the stakeholders while commending the NDC PC for the engagement, they also described the gesture as the first of its kind in the Sagnarigu constituency.
Meanwhile, Attah Issah after engaging the stakeholders also met and interacted with candidates sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the ongoing free extra classes he organized for the students in his constituency.
In his remarks, the NDC PC advised the students to be discipline before, during and after the exams. “The future looks bright for you. But it will take hard work and determination from you to become a successful adult in future. You have to do away with boyfriend and girlfriend issues now and concentrate”, he advised.
In a related development, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Sagnarigu constituency, Hon. Attah Issah, has organized a free medical screening for the people of Jisonaayili and its surrounding communities.
The free medical outreach program, which is one of the Sagnarigu NDC PC initiatives on health, was well attended by the people of Jisonaayili.
Free medical test for blood pressure and blood glucose performed for participants. Some were also test for Hepatitis B. There were free consultations by medical officers and prescribed drugs. Attah Issah, who spoke with the media at the end of the program expressed his satisfaction with the work done by organizing the medical team and the response of the beneficiaries.
