As part of efforts in strengthening the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and readying it for the 2024 polls in the Savelugu Constituency, a parliamentary aspirant Hajia Fatahiya Abdul Aziz, has on Monday August 28, 2023, donated a brand-new Toyota Hilux 4X4 pickup to the Savelugu constituency executives of the ruling NPP.
The donation by the compassionate presidential staffer was meant to enhance effective day-to-day operations of the party’s activities in solidifying the grounds in reclaiming the Savelugu seat marginally lost in the 2020 general elections.
The donation also aimed at facilitating the work of the Executives, especially in remote parts of the Constituency to propagate the good policies and work done by the NPP-led government.
The presidential staffer Madam Fatahiya Abdul Aziz is vying to lead the NPP in the Savelugu constituency, and is putting more efforts to help the NPP recapture the Savelugu seat, having won it in 2016 but lost it in the 2020 general elections.
In her remarks after presenting the vehicle to the Northern Regional chairman of the ruling NPP Mohammed Bantimah Samba for onward presentation, she reaffirmed her unwavering dedication to diligently serve the people of Savelugu when given the nod.
She indicated that the donation was part of activities her outfit had put in place to uplift Savelugu constituency.
In his remarks, the Northern Regional chairman of the NPP Mohammed Bantimah Samba who received the vehicle on behalf of the Savelugu executives was overwhelmed by the kind gesture.
He noted that the timely donation will go a long way to ameliorate efforts by the party in the constituency and the region in accomplishing the party’s crusade of breaking the 8.
Chairman Samba also commended Hajia Fatahiya, for initiating the ongoing infrastructure developmental projects within the Savelugu constituency.
On his part, the Savelugu constituency chairman of NPP Alhaji Abdulai Kpong on behalf of his colleagues executives expressed appreciation to the presidential staffer for her unabated resolve of resourcing the party in the constituency.
