Mion constituency executive committee of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, has congratulated the Member of Parliament (MP) of the area Honorable Musah Aziz Ayaba on his nomination as Deputy Minister Designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture and Development.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday February 14, 2024, announced his first ministerial reshuffle since assuming office in January 2017.
The Mion constituency executive committee in a statement signed by the constituency secretary Iddrisu Ndung Amin said, “the Mion constituency executive committee of the New Patriotic Party NPP wishes to congratulate Hon, Musah Aziz Ayaba on his nomination as the deputy minister designate for fisheries and aquaculture development”.
The statement further thanked President Nana Addo for nominating the Mion constituency lawmaker, “we want to express our appreciation to the President of the Republic H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for the nomination of a true patriot, a history maker in the Mion constituency, and the first NPP member of parliament as the Deputy Minister Designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development
“It is our fervent prayer that the Almighty Allah will be your helper in this challenging responsibility bestowed on you by the president,” the statement added.
The statement further commended Hon. Aziz Ayaba for his hard work and dedication to the cause of the party, “the people of Mion constituency have no doubt in your capabilities as you have always demonstrated strong resilience in all your dealings both in private and public life.”
“We are confident that you will improve tremendously on the records set by your predecessor and continue with the NPP governments enviable record in the fisheries and Aquaculture development in Ghana”.
“This is a great opportunity to continue to serve mother Ghana, the Mion constituency and the great New Patriotic Party NPP”, the statement concluded.
