Some media practitioners in Tamale have urged metropolitan chief executive for Tamale to support any call for investigations into corruption allegations that have been leveled against him.
According to the journalists, it is necessary for the Iddrisu Musa Superior, to subject himself to probe from the various investigative bodies in order to redeem his image, after receiving various criticisms from several quarters, including his own party.
Commenting in Diamond FM editors’ forum, editor of radio Tamale, Alhassan Ibrahim, stated that the mayor having had experiences from Europe, where he was residents until his appointment, should get his name cleared.
Some other panelist, made similar calls to the mayor, but advised him to disregard pressures from within the NPP to share contracts amongst party members.
