The Member of Parliament for Karaga constituency Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Anta has presented 20 tricycles (Motor-King) to his constituents in Karaga.
According to him, the tricycles will serve as a transport support system for indigenes to commute from neighboring villages to the Karaga township as well as transporting their farm products to market centers.
In his brief remarks at a short ceremony in Karaga, Dr. Amin recounted his promise during the 2020 parliamentary campaign, to help improve economic activities in the area and again assured the people of his commitment to this promise.
“I am embarking on an economic empowerment agenda because I believe my people have to be independent and financially liberated as the years go by”, Dr. Amin Anta said.
“Aside this donation, I will be embarking on vocational projects such tailoring, hairdressing as well as shea butter production”, he added.
The occasion was graced by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Iddirisu Mohammed Saani, the Presiding member (PM) of the assembly, Mr. Sulemana Ziblim, and other constituency officials.
