Chiefs in Gushegu show appreciation to their MP Hassan Tampuli

The chiefs and people of Zinindo, Galwei, and Lemo communities in the Gushegu Municipality of the Northern Region say they are grateful to the Member of Parliament(MP) of the area Honorable Alhassan S. Tampuli for the numerous developmental projects he has implemented and executed in the area.

According to them, the MP who doubled as Deputy Minister for Transport since assuming the role of MP in the constituency has discharged his duties with diligence for the development of the area most especially the above mentioned communities.

Some of the chiefs of these communities also described the MP as a symbol of hope and development and pray for God guidance to enable him transform the area.

Speaking in an interview with diamondfmonline.com the chief of Zinindo, Naa Alhassan Abdulai, said, “Alhassan Tampuli is a development-oriented person committed to improve human capital for development of his constituency”.

He cited the construction of new health facility at his community and the improvement of road network in the constituency through the construction of Digbla, Galwei Saguli and Kpatinga road, and the ongoing rehabilitation of other road networks to facilitate the free movement of goods and services for socio-economic development of the area.

“So far, the MP has done well. He has distinguished himself so well. He has been good to us, aside from putting up a new health facility and good drinking water in my community. He has also started working on our roads, and we thank him for these efforts”, he said.

On his part, the regent of Lemo Naa Iddrisu Mohammed, also praised the Gushegu lawmaker for his hard work and commitment, which had ensured the speedy development and progress of the constituency.

Naa Iddrisu Mohammed whiles praising the MP also expressed gratitude to the MP for his foresight and prayed for God’s guidance for him in all efforts.

“It is important for the people of Gushegu constituency to put politics aside and rally behind this our current MP to enable him develop our communities and the entire Gushegu constituency. What he is doing currently shows that he is ready to work for the people of Gushegu”, he noted.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Ibrahim A. Alhassan a resident at Zinindo also attested to the MP humanitarian nature saying he assisted several needy but brilliant students in the area.

“It is not only the students he assists, he also supported we the farmers for this year farming season”, he added.

“We appreciate his lobbying skills. The efforts by the MP on attending to our developmental needs without any delayed is an indication that we made a good choice, and we will continue to support him” he said.

On her part, Madam Nantogmah Fatimah, a resident at Yemokaraga, narrate, ‘we had suffered for decades with poor mobile network in this area, “we never enjoyed holding mobile phones until Honorable Tampuli connected our communities to the telecoms network. Now, we can sit in our bedrooms and make phone calls. At first, we used to climb trees before we can make mobile phone call”.
