6 denied bail in the murder case of Police Woman in Tamale

The Tamale Magistrate court 2 has denied a bail plea for six persons on remanded in connection with the murder of a Police woman, Lance Corporal Agatha Nana Nabin.

The court presided over by his Lordship Amadu Seidu, said the stay off the accused persons in prison custody will allow State Prosecutors enough time for further investigations into the murder of the Police Officer.

The six persons are charged with four counts namely; conspiracy to commit crime, murder, illegal possession of firearms and possession of military accoutrements.

They are expected to reappear in court on September 5, 2019.

Meanwhile, the mortal remains of the deceased Police woman Agatha Nana Nabin will be laid to rest on August 24.

A burial mass service will be held in her honor at the Holy Cross Parish, Choggu on Saturday August 24.

Lance Corporal Agartha Nana Nabin was shot dead on Tuesday July 30 by military dressed armed robbers at a police checkpoint at Malshegu on the Kumbungu road.
