NPP’s Alhaji Sunday publicly acknowledged for imparting the youth in the Northern Region

The Northern Regional First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alhaji Sunday has been honored by the Northern Youth Agenda (NORYA), a young non-governmental organization for being an inspirational leader in the region. He was presented with a citation.

The citation read in part; “Success is never an incident; it is always the results of High Intention and Skillful execution and through your mentorship and inspiration to the youth you have contributed to development in the region.”

Addressing the media on behalf of the group after presenting the plaque to Alhaji Sunday, the CEO of (NORYA), Alexander Jimpetey, described the youth icon as someone whose life is committed to seeing to the wellbeing of his folks.

He also described the NPP Northern Regional First Vice Chairman as someone who had carved a niche for himself by spearheading the development of the youth.

Mr. Jimpetey added that Alhaji Sunday has in decades dedicated himself to issues bothering the youth and their development, saying (NORYA) through research had been able to establish the recipient, Alhaji Sunday was a personality who had been making great impact on youth in the region.

 “To take care of people is one of most difficulty things in our jurisdiction, but Alhaji has many youth groups under him and he is making great impact on their lives through education, hence the honor.” he stated

Receiving the citation, Alhaji Sunday could not hide his gratitude for the honor bestowed on him saying; “the recognition from the youth activists would spur me on to give off my best which is to concentrate on my passion i.e. the youth.”

He also called for peace between the political parties in the Northern Region.
