John Mahama tasks his campaign team to ensure decent campaigns ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The torchbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama is urging for a decent political campaign ahead of the 2020 general elections.

He has therefore charged his party’s campaign team to ensure decency and decorum in all campaign activities in ways that many Ghanaians would accept and appreciate.

According to him, Ghanaians are noted for their civility and in that way, the NDC’s campaign team should beware of this in their activities in the months leading to the December polls.

Mr. Mahama gave the charge when the NDC outdoored its 26-member campaign team for the December 7 election. The task for the team include campaign leading strategies and coordinating party activities on the ground and in the media space to ensure a resounding victory for the NDC.

Former President Mahama, who is staging a comeback after the 2016 defeat, described his running mate for the 2020 General Election as a phenomenal person who is committed to the causes of women and education of children. He thanked the National Executives of the NDC for their unanimous endorsement of her candidature to be a running mate.

The NDC’s 2020 campaign team has Prof Joshua Alabi as National Campaign Manager, with
Alex Segbefia and Peter Boamah Otokunor as Deputies.

The team include Lieutenant Colonel Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, (rtd), James Agyenim Boateng; Mrs Mawuena Trebarh; Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who is the NDC’s General Secretary;  Alban Bagbin, Deputy Speaker of Parliament; Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Chairman of the Party, Dr, Louisa Hanna Bisiw, Sammy Gyamfi, Kofi Totobi Quakyi, Minority Leader in Parliament; Haruna Iddrisu, and Alhaji Hudu Yahaya among others.
