Farmers in the Nakpali-Korili in the Zabzugu district are calling on the government to construct the feeder linking the community up to the district capital.

Lack of motorable roads according to the farmers, is depriving the area of basic revenue that can be generated from farming.

Located some 30 miles away from the district capital, Nakpali also serves as an alternative route to the Volta region as well as neighboring Togo.

The Farmers end up losing the yam, because they are unable to transport them to the markets due to bad roads.

Meanwhile, the Assembly man for the area, abdulai Ibrahim in an interview with diamond news, expressed concerns that attempt to get the district assembly to address their concerns, has not been fruitful.
