NPP disowns Hafiz Dema-Naa

The Ruling New Patriotic Party NPP in the Northern Region has distance itself from the recent comments made by the MOHAMMED HAFIZ who also goes by the name Dema naa.

Hafiz Dema Naa has been trying to make himself relevant in the political space without success after waves of allegations were level against him including absconding with a car belonging to a Chinese national among others hence, now thinks he can become relevant by speaking for the NPP.

But his attempts have been blocked by the NPP in the region who have distance itself from his latest comment against Diamond fM. According to the New Patriotic Party Regional Communication Director, ISSAH MOHAMMED, Dema Naa isn’t a member of the party’s Communication team and therefore could not speak for or on behalf of the party.

DEMA NAA in a radio interview in Tamale, stated that the NPP in the Northern Region had blacklisted some media houses and some media practitioners in the metropolis from taking part in their events. He labeled diamond FM one and said the station is aligned to the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC. Now listen to what Hafiz Deama said:

However commenting on the issue to Diamond News communication director of the Ruling party, stated that the party had not blacklisted any media house; rather they are working closely with all media houses and media practitioners.

He wants the public to disregard Mohamed Hafiz Dema-naa’s rants.

Meanwhile Management of DIAMOND FM would want the public to disregard Mohamed Hafiz Dema-naa’s loose comments as the station continually engage all development oriented individuals and institutions including all political parties on such good cause.

Diamond fM in its 16 years of existence remains one of the leading media organizations in Northern Ghana. It mains objective is to use radio as a social mobilization tool that empowers its listeners so that they can contribute towards their own development.

Management assures that Diamond FM would not relent with efforts at ensuring that the station provides unadulterated, well researched and thought through programmes and news-coverage to its audience.
