COVID-19: 183 new cases confirmed, death telly now 31.

Ghana has confirmed 183 new cases of the Covid-19 in six regions, bringing the total case count to 5,918.

Two more deaths have also been recorded within the last 48 hours, bringing the death tally to 31; while the recoveries remain at 1,754 since the last update.

The active cases of the viral disease now stand at 4,133.

Speaking at the Minister’s press briefing in Accra, the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye, said five patients were critically ill, however, they were not on ventilators, while the remaining patients were responding to treatment.
