The Tamale circuit court presided over by His Lordship Appiah Twumasi has remanded all the26 accuse persons including the two chiefs into police custody in connection with the renewed conflict that broke out at Yong Dakpemayili a suburb of the Tamale.
All the 26 accused persons and the two chiefs are scheduled to reappear on Friday April 17th 2020.
The 26 accused persons and the two chiefs were charged with Conspiracy, Causing damage, Causing harm, and Possession of fire arms in a distracted area.
At least two persons have been shot as a result of the renewed chieftaincy clashes at Yong Dakpemayili.
