Toyota Ghana to invest in Health, Education, the Environment and Road Safety says its MD as it opens a showroom in Tamale

Health, Education, the Environment as well as championing road safety are some of the areas Toyota Ghana would be supporting periodically alongside their core duties – automobile sales, servicing and dealership in genuine spare parts.

Managing Director of Toyota Ghana, Takuya Kajiura who announced this when the company opened its elegant showroom and servicing point at Lamashegu in Tamale, explained that the company is socially responsible for the well-being of the communities it transacts business hence would periodically support those interventions.

Toyota Ghana in 2017 opened a liaison office in Tamale, but as part of its infrastructural expansion in the last 20 years, increased its branches to eight in cities like Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale to enable customers enjoy the exceptional purchase experience of Toyota vehicles.

The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed who commissioned the auto showroom said the region was strategically positioned to promote investments and therefore welcome the idea of Toyota to serve the needs of clients in the entire Northern Ghana.

Salifu Saeed said Toyota has been a dependable partner in the movement of people and the company’s decision to involve itself in the development of the human capital of the region was equally commendable.

In another development, Toyota has presented medical equipment to the Tamale West Hospital towards quality health delivery at the facility.

The equipment; made up of 2 oxygen concentrators, 2 suction machines and 5 digital thermometer guns according to the MD of  Toyota, Takuya Kajiura, will go a long way to improve on service delivery in saving precious lives.

He assured that the company will commit resources to the needs of the region periodically.

The Medical Superintendent of the Tamale West Hospital, Dr. Patrick Bampoe who received the items on behalf of the facility commended Toyota Ghana for the gesture and promised that the equipment would be put to good use.
