The Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo has donated four (4) giant trophies and a cash amount of money to Management of Diamond FM in support of the 3rd edition of Diamond Damba Festival.
According to him, the donation has formed part of the corporate social responsibility of the NRFA.
Chairman Rhyzo during his campaign and manifesto launch before the RFA elections, promised to ensure that the association should not only be at the receiving end, but rather, should also give back to society.
“During our campaign tour to this elections, I remember mentioning something about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) when you hosted me here (in studio)”.
“We shouldn’t only be at the receiving end, but as an entity like the RFA, we should also get involve in projects like these, so that society would also know that at least we are also capable of giving something out”, he stated.
“As part of the new RFA Corporate Social Responsibility, we should contribute towards our widows might to ensure that it (registration of NHIS cards) comes out successfully”, he mentioned.
He urged other benevolent individuals and organisations to support the initiative of Diamond FM to register and renew the NHIS cards of widows and orphans in society.
