N/R: NPP schedule date to vet parliamentary aspirants

The northern regional secretariat of the Ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released the schedule for vetting of all aspiring candidates who successfully file their nomination forms to contest the party’s upcoming parliamentary primaries in the Northern Region.

A Statement signed by the regional secretary of the party, Alhaji Sibdoo Alhassan Yakubu, indicated that the aspirants shall be vetted on Wednesday March 4 and Thursday March 5, 2020.respectively.

The statement has however cautioned aspirants to be of good conduct and to advise their followers to exercise restraint whiles at the venue to witness the process.

The statement read, “The National Parliamentary Vetting Committee (NPVC) of the NPP in the Northern Region announces for the information of all Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates (APC) to avail themselves between March 4 and 5 for vetting at the RCC Round Hut in Tamale.

VETTING OF ASPIRING PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES-NR

The National Parliamentary Vetting Committee (NPVC) of the NPP in the Northern Region announces for the information of all Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates (APC) to avail themselves between March 4 and 5 for vetting at the RCC Round Hut in Tamale. 

The vetting schedule is as follows;

Day 1- Wednesday

1. Dominic Nitiwul-Bimbilla

2. Mohammed Somed Gunu-Savelugu

3. Habib Iddrisu-Tolon

4. Wahab Suhuyini W-Tolon

5. Jaagbo Baako-Tolon

6. Mohammed Zakaria-Tolon

7. Amama Sayibu-Tolon

8. Thomas D Ogaja-Wulensi

9. Abdulai Haruna-Wulensi

10. Hardy Tuferu-Nanton

11. Kamaldeen Abdulai-Nanton

Day 2 – Thursday

1. Mathew Nyindam Kpandai

2. Farouk Aliu Mahama- Yendi

3. Abibata Mahama-Yendi

4. Osman Baba Daney-Yendi

5. Ziblim Iddi-Gushegu

6. Mahama Osman-Gushegu

7. Hardy Adams-Gushegu

8. Charles Bintim-Saboba

9. Emmanuel M Kotin-Saboba

10. Jawol Binam Abraham-Saboba

11. Kayil Banab-Saboba

ACPs must note that aside the Members of the Constituency Elections Committee (CEC) and Constituency Executives and their Personal Aides, no other persons shall be allowed in the vetting room.

ACPs are further cautioned to restrain the behavior of their supporters for a smooth and incident free vetting process.
