Encourage and nurture talents of children to succeed in chosen fields

An official of the Savelugu Directorate of the Ghana Education Service, Iddrisu Ziblim Andani has urged parents not to restrain their children from exhibiting their talents aside school.

Rather, he suggested that parents should encourage and nurture the talents of their children to succeed in chosen fields.

Speaking to residents of Savelgu at an event organized by the Northern Community School complex on Sunday, Ziblim Andani requested parents to consider these areas as game changers in this highly competitive world of work.

Ghana’s most beautiful 2017 champion, Zeinab Alhassan who was the guest of honour at the event, encouraged the pupils to commit themselves to learning in order to become responsible citizens in future.

She further urged parents to see to invest in the education of their children, as that could salvage them from the harsh economic conditions they may be confronted with in the future.

The north community school since its establishment some 10 years ago has been contributing to the education needs of mostly brilliant but needy pupils in the Savelugu municipality.
