Middle aged man commits suicide in Tamale

A male suspected to be in his 30s was found dead on Tuesday evening at St Joseph’s Junior High School in the Tamale Metropolis.

The deceased, Alhassan Mohammed, A.K.A Zangina, who was a graduate from the Islamic University, was found dead with a robe tied to his neck hanging from a tree.

His grisly demise came to his family, friends and neighbors at a shock.

An eye witness whose identity is withheld speaking to Diamond FM remarked: “I don’t believe Zangina could have killed himself, because he was very optimistic about life and most importantly his body does not suggest to me that he killed himself”

The police were called in to examine the body which was later handed over to the family for burial on Wednesday.
