Hive Ecosystem provides another mechanize borehole for Nanton Dingoni Residents
Residents of Dingoni, a farming community of the Nanton District in the Northern Region have praised the leadership of Hive Ecosystem, a nonprofit organisation in the Northern Region for their efforts towards improving access to potable drinking water in the area.
According to the residents, they are grateful to the Hive Ecosystem for their attention and commitment towards ensuring clean and safe water in the area.
The residents made these praises by the leadership of Hive Ecosystem when they handed over an ultramodern mechanized borehole facility to the chief and people of Dingoni.
“We thank them for the intervention they have made by providing us this facility to solve our water challenges. We are happy, and we want to assure them that we are ready to take good care of the facility to ensure its purpose”, they assured.
The Hive Ecosystem, a nonprofit organisation in the Northern Region over the weekend inaugurated a mechanized borehole to the chiefs and people of Nanton Dingoni.
The commissioning of the Nanton Dingoni mechanized borehole is the five in a series of water facilities the leadership of Hive Ecosystem have constructed within the Northern Region.
This is part of an initiative management of Hive Ecosystem have taken to address communities water problems and also to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene practices in the area to prevent waterborne disease outbreaks.
In his short remarks, a representative of Hive Ecosystem in the Northern Region, Mr Abdul-Wahab Osman, who inaugurated the facility on behalf of the management of Hive Ecosystem, said clean and accessible water was the cornerstone of healthy communities and sustainable development hence the project.
He added that the initiative not only elevates the living standards of the Dingoni community members, but also empowers the people, most especially women and children, who often bear the brunt of water scarcity.
Mr. Abdul-Wahab while thanking the leadership of Hive Ecosystem for the gesture, also called on the Dingoni community members to take proper care of the facility to ensure its purpose.
“As we celebrate this achievement, let us also recognize the responsibility that comes with this precious resource. Let us pledge to use water wisely, conserve it diligently, and educate future generations about its importance,” he advised.
