Karela United secure 4-1 win over TF Exponential in MTN FA Cup Round 32

A hat-trick of assists from Fatawu Mohammed and a quadruple by Najeeb Ibrahim was enough for Karela United to brush aside 3rd tier side TF Exponential in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 in Tamale on Sunday.

The win sees Karela United advanced to the Round of 16 where they will face a new challenge in their bid to lift the FA Cup trophy in the club’s history.

Returnee and former captain of Accra Hearts of Oak Fatawu Mohammed was on super form upon his return following his release last season.

He captained the side again today to secure the 4-1 victory at the Aliu Mahama Stadium by providing three crosses that all resulted in to 3 goals for Man of the Match winner Najib Ibrahim.

With this win, Karela United continue their impressive run in the competition and will look to build on this momentum as they advance to the next round.
