APPRECIATION LETTER TO THE NPP CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES IN NANTONG

Date: May 03, 2025

Chairman Inusah

New Patriotic Party (NPP) — Nantong Constituency

Northern Region

Dear Chairman Inusah,

Subject: Deep Appreciation for Your Exemplary Leadership and Commitment to Party Unity

I write this letter with a heart full of gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable efforts you and the entire NPP Executive Committee in the Nantong Constituency have demonstrated in the recent months toward reconciliation, unity, and the rebuilding of our great party at the constituency level.

Indeed, under your able leadership, the constituency executives have shown not only political maturity but also an exceptional sense of love, understanding, and loyalty to the New Patriotic Party. The steps you have taken to heal old wounds, foster a spirit of togetherness, and reposition the party for victory in the 2028 elections are laudable and worthy of emulation across the country.

As a committed and loyal member, a financier of the NPP and a two-time constituency treasurer aspirant, I, Mohammed Issahaku Saha Naa, wish to extend my personal and sincere appreciation to you, Chairman Inusah, the hardworking constituency secretary Mr. Suawi, and all the respected executives in the Nantong Constituency. Your resolve to bring every member on board, irrespective of past differences, is a clear indication of your deep commitment to the party’s growth and electoral success.

Party members may recall that some months ago, I was among a group of party members who were suspended from the party. In line with the provisions of our party constitution, I was invited to appear before the disciplinary committee, and I respectfully honoured the invitation. I must state, without hesitation, that throughout the process, the constituency executives led by you, Chairman Inusah, conducted yourselves with integrity, fairness, and a high sense of responsibility. At no point did I feel that the process was vindictive, malicious, or intended to discredit those of us who found ourselves in such unfortunate circumstances.

Rather, you all demonstrated leadership that sought unity over division, healing over punishment, and the greater good of the party over personal interests. This is the kind of leadership the NPP needs—one that brings people together and inspires hope in even the most disheartened party member.

Furthermore, I extend my profound gratitude to the Northern Regional Disciplinary Committee, chaired by the learned and respected Lawyer Zakaria Bashiru. The manner in which the committee handled the disciplinary proceedings was professional, impartial, and constructive. They exemplified not just discipline but also mediation, reconciliation, and the preservation of party dignity. The regional executives, ably led by Chairman Mohammed Bantima Samba, deserve great commendation for assembling such a team of true patriots dedicated to the unity and progress of our party.

In conclusion, I use this opportunity to call on all party faithful, particularly my supporters, to let go of past differences and come together as one united front. From today onwards, let us see each other not as rivals but as brothers and sisters fighting for the same cause. Our enemy is not within the NPP. Our true enemy is the poverty and bad governance that have plagued our nation under the current leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, whose policies have weakened the foundations of the democracy entrusted to him.

The peace pipe has been smoked. Where apologies were necessary, they have been made sincerely and unreservedly. It is now time to marshal our strength, resources, and collective energy to restore the confidence of the good people of Nantong in the NPP. We have won this constituency before, and together, with unity and purpose, we shall win it again.

Thank you once again for your service, sacrifice, and steadfast leadership.

Yours sincerely,
