NAYA Executives pay courtesy call on newly appointed Northern Regional Minister

Executives of the Nanumba Youth Association (NAYA), Tamale Branch and representatives of the national executives, paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Northern Regional Minister, Honourable Ali Adolf on Monday, 17th February, 2025 at the Regional Coordinating Council.

The purpose of the meeting was to formally welcome the minister and congratulate him on his appointment.

Honourable Adolf Ali is a past executive of NAYA during his days in Bimbilla where he was born. So, the executives thought it wise to reach out to him since he happens to be one of their own to wish him well as he leads the region as the regional minister.

Dr. Abukari Wumbei, the General Secretary of NAYA at the national level, introduced members of the delegation to the minister during the visit and shared a few words of encouragement with him.

Addressing members at the meeting, NAYA Tamale Branch president, Mr Alhassan Adam Mubarak, on behalf members of the association, extended their warmest congratulations to Hon. Adolf Ali on his recent appointment to the portfolio of Northern Regional Minister. He said his appointment is a tremendous honour, not just for him, but for NAYA and the entire Nanung Kingdom.

He further acknowledged the Minister’s dedication and passion for public service as traits that he believes has earned him this prestigious position and said the association is confident that his leadership will bring about positive change and development to the Northern Region in general and Nanung in particular.

The NAYA delegation further assured the minister of their support in whatever development programmes and projects he intends to undertake.

For his part, the Honourable Regional Minister, Ali Adolf, while commending the NAYA delegation for their foresight and fellow feeling, promised to use his experience to help NAYA achieve its goal of fostering sustainable peace and development in Nanung and beyond.
