Day 5 of the ongoing Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games in Tamale was full of thrills as competition continued in the various disciplines. Here are updates of some of the results:

In the football men competition, hosts University for Development Studies (UDS) were 2-0 winners over the University of Mines and technology (UMaT).

In the Women Beach Volley Ball competition, UDS defeated the University of Ghana (UG) 2-0 whilst University of Cape Coast (UCC) were 2-0 winners over the University of Education, Wineaba (UEW).

The Men Beach Volley Ball saw a disappointment for hosts, UDS as the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) defeated them 0-2 whilst UCC won 2-0 against UG.

For the Volley Ball men, UG won by 3-0 against the University of Professional Studies (UPSA). UDS were 3-1 winners over the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). UCC won 3-0 against UEW.

In the Hockey Men competition, UG won 1-0 against UPSA. UCC won 1-0 against UG.

The Basketball Women saw UCC win 63-29 against UEW whilst UEW were 83-28 winners over UMat in the men competition and UENR won 38-35 against UPSA.
