BE RECEPTIVE TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH CHRONIC DISEASES-SAYS CEO OF CLEAR LENS LABORATORY
The Chief Executive officer of the Clear Lens Diagnostic Laboratory in Tamale, Bakari Issah has urged society to change their perceptions toward persons living with chronic disease including Tuberculosis.
According to him most TB patients are losing their lives as a result of people attitude towards them, saying it is time for people in the northern region to end the unnecessary deaths by rather encouraging persons with chronic disease to visit health facilities for medical attention.
Speaking to Diamond News at the premises of Clear lens Diagnostic Laboratory, Bakari Issah, mentioned that most of TB patients sometimes lose their lives through blood clot which sometime are not detect by heath practitioners.
He said in other to prevent further lose in the region; his facility had installed a new high standard diagnostic machine to help curb the death situation.
Medical scientist at the Clear lens diagnostic laboratory, Elijah Cooper Aggrey, said it is prudent for people to check against blood clots to avoid health challenges.
