Zabzugu Constituents grateful to their MP for developmental projects executed so far

The chiefs and people of Suburini, Naagbamba, Bagmani, and Tasundo communities in the Zabzugu District of the Northern Region say they are grateful to the Member of Parliament of the area Hon. Jabaah John Bennam for the numerous developmental projects he has initiated and executed in the area.

According to them, the MP since taking assuming the role of MP in the constituency has worked hard to improve the socio-economic infrastructure which is helping to enhance the living conditions and lives of the people within the communities.

Some of the chiefs of these communities also described the MP as a symbol of hope and development and asked other residents within the Zabzugu District to put the politics aside and rally behind him to enable him transform the area.

The chiefs gave these recommendations in an exclusive interview with Diamondfmonline.com during the MP’s recent tour of the area.

Kujah Francis who spoke on behalf of the chief of Suburini narrated that, “So far, the MP has distinguished himself so well. He has been good to us, aside from working on our roads, and extending electricity to our communities, he has started putting up a community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound and teachers’ accommodation facility in our community and this will serve us well when completed.”

“We appreciate his lobbying skills, the efforts by the MP on attending to our developmental needs without any hesitation is an indication that we made a good choice. We thank him for addressing our biggest concerns”, he added.

He also praised the District Chief Executive (DCE), Ahmed Abubakari Adarkwa for his hard work and commitment, which had ensured the speedy development and progress of the district.

The chief of Bagmani, Naa Mahami Akwansi who doubles as chief warrior of Nakpali traditional area, also expressed gratitude to the MP for his foresight and prayed for God’s guidance for him in all efforts.

He urged political parties to live visible imprints on the minds of people through their projects and initiatives to help residents make informed choices.

It would be recalled that, the Member of Parliament for Zabzugu constituency, Hon. Jabaah John Bennam, on Monday Sept 12, 2022 toured his constituency. The MP as part of the tour, inspected a number of electrification projects and other infrastructural developmental projects he initiated at Suborini, Naagbamba, Bagmani, and Tasudo, No 1 among others.

Hon. Jabaah John Bennam during the tour also commissioned a four (4) bedroom newly constructed nurses’ Bungalow at Waribogu, a farming community within the Zabzugu District. The project, an initiative of the MP, was fully funded by the Northern Development Authority (NDA) under its $1million per constituency initiative promised by President Akufo-Addo’s NPP government.

The MP after inspecting and inaugurating some of the projects also interacted with the constituents and reiterated his commitment towards transforming the area.
