Still with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), its constituency executives in Salaga North are calling on people in the constituency to disregard the lies being peddled by their opponent in the NDC.
The executives of NDC in Salaga North constituency last week accused their rivals in the NPP of collecting National Health Insurance cards from the people on the ground under the guise of sending them for renewal.
They also accused the NPP executive of embarking on activities that were meant to undermine the efforts of the MP for the area, Alhassan Mumuni, instead of mounting pressure in government to tackle the numerous developmental challenges confronting Salaga North.
However in a reaction, NPP’s Salaga North Constituency Communication officer, Alhassan BABA described the statement from NDC as cheap propaganda, meant to gain political attention.
He said executives of the ruling party had not connived with the NHIS manager or the DCE for Salaga North, as being peddled by the NDC, to collect NHIS CARDS for purposes of renewals.
The NPP executives of the Salaga North also want the MP rather to use his common fund to undertake developmental projects that would support the District Assembly’s efforts.
