Yendi Circuit Court issue bench warrant for the arrest of Yendi constituency Secretary of NPP

The Yendi Circuit Court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the former Yendi constituency Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Fusheini Bawah Zakaria, for his refusal to appear before the Court on Thursday May 12, 2022 on the charges of forgery signature.

Fusheini Bawah Zakaria who is also the Yendi Municipal Health Insurance Authority Manager, is alleged to have forge the signature of former Yendi Constituency NPP Treasurer Alhaji Mohammed Mustapha.

The former NPP Secretary allegedly withdraw Gh¢53,000 from the party account at the National Investment Bank in Yendi.

The case was sent to Court on Thursday, but he failed to appear in Court.

The Court presided over by his honor, Anthony Aduku-Aidoo however, issued the warrant for his arrest.

The case has since been adjourned to Thursday, May 19, 2022.
