He is alleged to have stolen several prepaid meters from their customer’s homes and was charged with stealing.

Mohammed Osman who was charged with dishonest allegedly led a NEDCo official to Mohammed Sualisu as the individual who retailed a stolen prepaid meter to him.

The court presided over by His Worship Amadu Issifu remanded the two into police custody, to reappear on Friday, September 10, 2021.

The Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) Public Relations Officer, Alhassan Ababa, lamented that illegal connection and meter theft has taken a major toll on the operations of the company.
