Two Alan Boys chase out from NPP in less than 24 hours in Tamale

The leadership of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Northern Region, has suspended two (2) Alan Boys in the Region in less than 24 hours following their press release on Wednesday.
They include Alhaji Ibrahim Kaleem, a member of the Communication Team of NPP in the Northern Region, and Dawuda Jetuma, Choggu West Electoral Area Coordinator of the NPP.
The party in a separate suspension letter sighted by Diamondfmonline.com stated that, the suspension follow their participation in a radio program design to promote the bid of Alan Kyeremateng on 4th Jan 2022 at a Tamale based Radio Tamale.
Part of the suspension letter signed by Mohammed Sherrif the Northern Regional Communications Director read, “My attention has been drawn to your participation in a program on Radio Tamale (a Tamale based radio station) designed for the sole purpose of advancing the campaign of a purported flag bearer aspirant. This program and your participation in same are clear violation of a directive issued by the Northern Regional chairman of the NPP for party people to cease, among others, all media engagements purporting to campaign for flag bearer hopefuls”, the NPP Regional Communications Director stated.
“As you are aware, this directive of Chairman was pursuant to an earlier directive issued by National Council under the signature of the General Secretary and in sync with Article 18 of the New Patriotic Party Constitution”, he added.
Meanwhile the other suspension letter, signed by Tamale Central Constituency Chairman of NPP Mohammed Ibrahim, also stated that “Pursuant to Article 3 Clause 7 (1) of the constitution of the New Patriotic Party, this letter constitutes official notice of your indefinite suspension as Choggu West Electoral Area Coordinator for the New Patriotic Party in the Tamale Central Constituency.”


“You have also been referred to the constituency Disciplinary Committee for investigation for a complaint of misconduct. Specifically, on Tuesday January 4, 2022 you were in the studios of Radio Tamale for a live radio programme to ostensibly promote the bid of Hon Alan Kyeremanten for 2024″, the letter added.
