TTH rubbishes claims that its oxygen supply had broken down leading to deaths

Management of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) has denied shortage of medical oxygen at the facility.

Public relations officer of the hospital, Dr. Ken Osei Mensah in a press release said the hospital has optimal levels of medical oxygen for patient care at the facility.

The press release copied to Diamond news revealed that, the Tamale Teaching Hospital can boost of two functional oxygen plants.

Making reference to an article making rounds in social media titled “Two die as Tamale Teaching Hospital runs out of oxygen”, the hospital management said the publication is a 2016 publication that is being used by propagandists to tarnish the image of the hospital.

The press release however, encouraged the public and individual commentators to seek clarity from the hospital authorities on matters of public interest and be circumspect in their public commentary on matters regarding the hospital.
