“Trust the NDC in the building of an inclusive society and vote for us on December 7,” says Mahama’s running mate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang

The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang says  the next NDC government will build an inclusive society that gives everyone equal platform to succeed.

Reiterating the efforts to make Ghana a better country, she urged the chiefs and people of the Northern Region to be involved and never give up despite the many hardships they are suffering under the current government.

Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang who was addressing some Chiefs, women groups and party supporters at separate events during her campaign tour, said a John Mahama administration will empower women who she noted constitute the vulnerable in the society, boost Agricultural productivity and strengthen the educational sector.

Professor Naana Jane also appealed to the people to ensure peace for a successful election as peace is the key to development.

At Tampion in the Nanton Constituency, Chief of the community, Naa Alhassan Andani appealed to Professor Jane Naana to ensure a Senior High School, Market and a District Hospital is constructed as the Nanton District relies on CHPS Compounds as its major health facility.

He said the construction of these facilities will ensure access to education to his people and also timely access to quality health to all persons especially to women in the constituency. 

The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress and her entourage on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the chiefs of Tong and Nyong in the Karaga District, Zamasheigu and Gushegu in the Gushegu Constituency and Tampion and Zoggu in the Nantong District.
