The NDC in Walewale has been vindicated, Mahama.

A member of the NDC in Walewale in the North East Region, Mashood Issifu Mahama, says the rankling between factions of the NPP in relation to a comment made on Nobiya Radio in Nalerigu by the NPP Regional Chairman, Nurudeen Fuseini, goes to vindicate the NDC’s long standing believe that the teaming youth in the North East Region do not equally benefit from the national cake as appointments are done based on party lines.

He added that the teaming Ghanaian youth were suffering as a result of bad leadership of the Nana Addo/Bawumia government, most especially the youth from the North East region.

He accused the Vice President of sleeping over his job as the Chairman of the Police Council and living in luxury whiles arm robbers frustrates residents of the North East Region. He recounted the several arm robbery incidents that has occurred within the Walewale Wulugu enclave, to a state that tomato traders had to carry out for protection.

Mashood Issifu Mahama further noted that, a response from one of the factions of the NPP with the caption ‘’ RE: “AND IF HE (BAWUMIA) TURNS PRESIDENT, WE ARE GOING TO BE THE GABBY’S”, CHAIRMAN NURU ON NOBYA FM’’ a release associated to Mr. Akamara Bawah’s camp which described the regional Chairman as ‘crumbling and clutching at straw’, testifies to thousands of Ghanaians who disagrees with the New Periotic Party (NPP) in respect to jobs creation.

Part of the statement indicated how some party members of the NPP were disappointed and dissatisfied in the Nana Addo/Bawumia government for the hardship and suffering it had brought to the nation. ‘’Do they think such radio comments yesterday, will inspire hope, confidence and increase morale within the rank and file of an already disappointed and dissatisfied party members, a situation which is undoubtedly, a cause of bad leadership style?

This statement as captured in the write up of Mr. Akamara Bawah’s camp goes to indeed vindicate the NDC’s stance that Ghanaians were suffering under the super incompetence leadership style of the Nana Addo/Bawumia government, he added.

Mashood Issifu Mahama further pointed out again from the release, about how Mr. Akamara Bawah’s camp testified in their response about the lack of jobs for the teaming graduates within the New North East Region, a testimony he said was an indication for the youth in the region to reject the NPP, since the release states it clearly, that the struggles and sacrifices they made during the elections should not be replicated in 2024, as such sacrifices will not be rewarded.

‘’Do they equally think that, the jobless graduate in our party somewhere on the streets of Yunyoo/Nasuan or Yagaba/Kubori, after listening to the selfish plans of our Chairman, will want to replicate his 2020 hard work for the party to win in 2024?

Mashood Issifu Mahama called on the youth of Mamprugu not to be deceived by the NPP’s cover up of wanting to use Mamprugu as a shield in their campaigns, as the evidence heard by many from far and near by a viral video of the NPP North East Chairman, making partisan revelations on Nobiya Radio in relation to the recent opening of portals for recruitment, defeats such stance.

He called on the youth to embrace the NDC for its achievements recorded within the region in 4 years of John Dramani Mahama’s government, and called on the Vice president to continue with abandoned projects started by the Mahama administration such as; the Langbinsi E-Block project, Yunyoo/Nasuan E-Block project, the Nalerigu Gbintiri road, the Janga Walewale road, the abandoned administration block at Walewale Vocational Institute, the two story building classroom blocks at Walewale Senior High Technical School and Wulugu Senior High School respectively, the Kparigu Selinvoya road, the Walewale Wungu road, the Wungu Yaama road among others.
