Tamale City FC sign Techiman Heroes player maker Samuel Ababio
Tamale City FC have officially signed Samuel Ababio from newly promoted Premier League side Techiman Heroes.
He’s signed a one year contract with the former Premier League side on Thursday at the Ceeta Kel Hotel in Kumasi.
Samuel Ababio, who impressed to secure qualification for Techiman Heroes last season with 32 appearances, played a crucial role in helping the Techiman based side to secure promotion.
The former Aduana Stars FC player standout performances caught the attention of several Premier League clubs in Ghana, but Tamale City managed to secure his services for the upcoming season in the Division One League.
After a mixed campaign that saw Tamale City finished third (3rd) in last season’s league, the club is eager to strengthen its squad and make a stronger impact to come back to elite football in Ghana.
Meanwhile, the Tamale based side has renewed the contract for their winger Tawfik Mohammed Salis for another year.
Tamale City FC in the coming days will officially unveil the former Aduana Stars player to their teaming supporters of the club in Tamale.
