Supporters of Alhaji Mumin Salifu C.O.P, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Northern Regional Youth Organizer hopeful, has descended at the incumbent Northern Regional Youth Organizer of NPP, Mohammed Ghana Alhassan, over the allege destruction of posters and banners of NPP aspirants within the Tamale Metropolis.
The group at a press briefing on Sunday May 8, 2022 while condemning the destruction of posters and banners of the incumbent Northern Regional Youth Organizer, also stated that, “it might be a deliberate attempt by the incumbent Regional Youth Organizer to seek sympathy from the delegates because all indications have shown that he has lost the election already with his incompetence”.
It will be recalled that, the NPP Northern Regional Youth Organizer on May 3, 2022 released a statement on his Facebook Page to complaining the destruction and defacing of his posters and banners within the Tamale Metropolis.
‘Ghana’ Alhassan in his statement however describe the action as unfortunate saying, “we’re not accusing any of our opponents as being the mastermind behind it but Allah knows those doing such uncivilized acts, and we can’t contemplate anyone doing that in the month of Ramadan”.
Meanwhile, Issahaku Abdul Hanan, Convener of the group, addressing the media said they are on a manhunt of persons who are carrying out this criminal act, “because we know how expensive it is to print posters and banners. But when apprehended, we’ll make an example out of them by allowing the laws of the country to deal with them appropriately” he said.
He further explained that, “we’re sending a word of caution to Ghana Alhassan that, if he is the mastermind behind this outmoded type of politicking to court sympathy from the disgruntled youth and delegates, then his agenda is dead and failed before arrival”.
“We’ve equally suffered the same fate where as our giant billboard around the Agric Traffic Light have been destroyed severally, but we’re too focused to make it a topic for discussion”, he revealed.

Response to Ghana Alhassan the Northern Regional Youth Organizer of the Npp on the destruction of his posters on the lamp poles.
Ladies and gentlemen of the media, good afternoon and a very good afternoon as well to all stakeholders of NPP in the Northern Region and as well, all those watching on Facebook live from the comfort of their homes and destinations in Ghana and across world.
It Can be recalled that on the Tuesday, 3rd May,2022. The current Northern Regional Youth Organizer our party Mr. Ghana Alhassan released a statement on his personal social media handle on Facebook regarding the destruction of his posters on the lamp poles within some parts Tamale Metropolitan area. We as supporters of the Alhaji MUMIN SALIFU C.O.P aka Jack Sparrow made a counter statement to condemn that immoral attack on our opponent who is our main contender in the upcoming regional delegate’s congress.
“We ve taken notice of images making round on social media where unscrupulous people have defaced and destroyed bill boards and posters belonging to our brother Ghana Alhassan who is our contender and the current Northern Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP.
We wish to condemn and offer advice to those behind it to desist from this wicked act which can mar the beauty of our internal politics.
The NPP is a big family where we believe in the rule of law. We hope they will be found and dealt with in accordance with the laws of our country to serve as a deterrent to others. There should be no room for hooliganism in our body politics.”
Ladies and gentle, it has become necessary as supporters of Jack Sparrow to respond to this wicked and immoral attack on our main contender Ghana Alhassan, because there’s another news item on Sagani TV pertaining to this same matter, we wish to emphatically state that, it is immoral, insubordination and this wrongdoing should end.

We’re poised in building up a formidable youth front with Alhaji MUMIN SALIFU C.O.P aka JACK SPARROW the Northern Regional Organizer Hopeful to help break the 8 and no amount of distraction can sway us away from The Jack Sparrow ALL INVOLVED AGENDA neither do we have time to soil our hands. He shouldn’t even have made an attempt to run for a second term looking at how he has performed abysmally.
This contest is not about “imaginary expensive phones, shoes, chains or watches which can buy cars for his opponents” It’s about vision and competence that can change the fortunes of the NPP in the Northern Region and help in breaking the 8 Agenda. This is a man rubbing salt in the wounds of the youth who are agitating because of his failure of the youth in the Northern Region when they needed him the most.
Ghana who uses to turn down interviews either on tv or radio due to his inability to account to the youth who entrusted him with the position he occupies has now seen the need to be in the news with the sole aim of eliciting compassion and sympathy from the people he refused to serve. No way!!! To all delegates, let’s vote people who are ready to serve and give POWER back to the people.
